Privacy and cookie policy.
In short and in plain language: we collect only what we need to reply to your enquiry. We don't sell data and we don't track you without your consent.
Effective from: 7 October 2026
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Piotr Dulbiński, trading as Cogidom, Toruń. Correspondence address: ul. Jarosława Iwaszkiewicza 15/24, 42-224 Częstochowa, Poland.
Contact on data matters: kontakt@cogidom.pl, phone +48 728 206 615.
2. What data we collect
- Contact form: full name, company name, e-mail, phone (optional), the selected service and your message.
- E-mail and phone: the data you give us yourself when you write or call.
- Free audit: for the audit, we check publicly available information about your business, e.g. your Google Business Profile, website and social media profiles.
- Facebook and Instagram: if you write to us through these services, we see your message and your public profile. Meta processes this data as a separate controller, under its own rules.
- Technical data: the hosting server keeps standard logs (including IP address, date of visit, browser type), needed for the website's security.
3. Why and on what legal basis
- Replying to your enquiry, preparing the free audit and an offer: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest, i.e. contacting a person who wrote to us).
- Performing the contract and settlements: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.
- Spam protection and website security: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Visitor statistics (if you enable them): Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, i.e. your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
4. How long we keep data
We keep enquiry data until our conversations end, and then for up to 12 months so we can refer back to earlier arrangements. If we sign a contract, we keep the data for its duration and for the period required by law (e.g. tax law). Server logs are deleted automatically by the hosting provider.
5. Who we share data with
We don't sell data. We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- OVH – website hosting and e-mail (servers in the European Union).
- Web3Forms – forwards messages from the form to our e-mail inbox.
- hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.) – checks that the form is being filled in by a human. It only loads once you start filling in the form.
- Umami (Umami Software, Inc.) – visit statistics, only if you consent to them.
Using Web3Forms, hCaptcha and Umami may involve transferring data outside the European Economic Area (e.g. to the USA). This is done on the basis of mechanisms provided for in the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or a European Commission adequacy decision.
6. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, port it, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing). Just write to kontakt@cogidom.pl.
You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl).
Providing data is voluntary, but without your name and e-mail we won't be able to reply to your enquiry. We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The website stores in your browser only what it needs to work:
- your choice in the privacy banner,
- site settings, e.g. light or dark theme, tricks mode, the industry you picked and the result of the short quiz (until you close the tab).
Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google, so opening the site does not pass your IP address to third parties.
Statistics (only with your consent). If you turn them on, we use Umami: a tool that does not use cookies and does not build profiles. It counts visits, the sites you come from (e.g. Google, Instagram), device type and country, and clicks on key buttons such as “Order a free audit”. Your full IP address is not stored. You can change your choice at any time: .
8. Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
